Unfortunately a lot of people selling Satellite Direct and other similar programs misrepresent what you can and cannot get. Simply put, all of the software on our recommended list receive OTA (over the air) signals and unencrypted signals from thousands of channels all over the world. Since the channels you mention are encrypted they are not available directly on any of these programs. HOWEVER!, Many of the programs from many of these encrypted channels ARE available via non US channels broadcast OTA. So while you cannot look up the Disney Channel or Showtime specifically. You may be able to find Hannah Montana, Dexter or SpongeBob available with Satellite Direct through a channel in Australia, or New Zealand, or even Japan. It can take time to find a specific program, which is why we only recommend software with a 60 day trial period.

I looked into Satellite Direct and had many questions. One of many questions was channels available. I’ve seen too many programs that will give you 400 stations from China but you can’t get Nick Jr. or the Disney Channel.
