The question used to be just “can I watch TV programs on my PC?”, but since the advent of sites like hulu.com and the recent addition of “Internet TV” as part of the new Windows 7 it’s become important that you dig a little deeper before jumping into the “watch TV on PC” thing.
After discovering the limitations of the sites and programs mentioned above though most people start searching for a more complete internet TV experience. Unfortunately many soon discover that there are a number of “watch TV on PC” scams that are just out to rip you off.
Some of the sites you’ll find when searching are promising “10,000 channels for $10”, others are waiting to deposit various viruses and spyware on your computer and still others are promising to show you how to watch TV on your PC illegally.
