Watching TV On PC – Is It Real?

I don’t know about you, but I’m watching TV on PC literally every day, and when I tell others about it, they just don’t believe me. It does sound a bit crazy to watch TV on the computer, while people are to used to conventional televisions, but nowadays it is very posssible. What’s even better, than it’s free – well, almost. You just need to have a specialized software, but apart from that no monthly costs or whatsoever.

So why watching TV on PC is actually better, rather than using a normal TV set? Considering that today people spend a lot of time next to their PCs, I think it’s great to always have a free access to television channel on your computer, just in case, when you want to glance at your favourite show or see what’s on the news. Also if it’s free, then what’s the problem? You don’t have to pay for anything, apart from the software, which usually costs about 150 bucks, but through this site is available for 70% off.

I have even seen people cancelling their TV subscriptions completely, and watch TV on PC only. I mean, you don’t have to do that, but if you think that you are spending too much money on cable television, then this is a perfect solution for you. So while all this stuff sounds great, you are probably wondering how it works, because obviously it’s too good to be true.

Well, the main “magic” here is the actual software. Basically, it enables your computer to catch the satellite signal (that regular TVs use) and display the channels on the screen. Obviously, you need to have Internet connection, because without that the software will not be functional. It’s recommended to have high-speed connection for best streaming quality and maximum channel support.

If you are not sure what software to go for, I will recommend you the one that I use. It’s called Satellite Direct TV for PC – pretty straight-forward name, isn’t it? It does what it supposed to do, it’s easy to use and it’s really cheap as well. Click here to check it out.
